Narrative:Little Brother
Something so sweet happened to me while sitting on my house porch, on a late night. I had just finished getting into an argument with my parents. It wasn't too severe but like always I tend to get mad really easily. By the time our quarrel was over I could feel the sides of my head throbbing. My face had turned to a dark rosy pink from having to listen to them take my younger sister's side, when clearly she was wrong. As I walked away from the living roomand outside all I could hear was the throbbing of my head and the door slamming after me. I sat on the porch swing by myself bawling my eyes out. My eyes were a dark red from all my crying. I can remember that the weather outside felt perfect. It was windy but kinda warm, which helped sooth me. Then I heard foot steps coming out and the sound of a door closing. The foot steps sounded like little thumps so I assumed it was one of my siblings. When I looked up it was my little brother (Saul). He had an expression of a million words. In his small hands were a box of tissues and a cup of milk. Then he said , " You want to talk about it?" This was coming from a little boy in first grade, I was surprised and then started to laugh and hug him. It felt good to know that someone cared about me and was worried about me. It was the sweetest action anyone could ever do, even if it comes from such a small person. I just sat with my little brother that night on the porch telling hims stories until it was time for him to go to bed. In the end I felt way better and appreciated what he did for me.
