In Class Writing: Experiance
When I was young at the age of 3, I did something no one could ever believe right on my front porch steps. It was my birthday that day and my mom had just finished curling my hair for my big party. I was wearing a ocean blue dress with lace arounf t and i had a small blue bow in my hair. It was nice and windy outside and the wind was making the wind chims play terse little tunes. It was still partly sunny outside so the weather couldn't be anymore perfect. Before I walked outside my mom handed me a cold bottle of fruity, pink lotion and asked me to put some on while she finshed up with my other sister. I guess she thought it was an easy task that I would be able to accomplish on my own. Well she guessed wrong. After she handed me the lotion I pondered about where to sit to complete this esay task. Well the porch step seemed good since there were sun rays shining on it keeping it warm. Once I sat down I could hear the chims and the birds in the tree chirpping with the movement of the wind. I just sat there admiring the party scene set up before me. The table cover were a light pink and green. The ballons were floating silently against the wind and my pinata looked like a pot full of hopes for candy hanging on the hook in the ceiling. Hanging from it were colorful strips of tissue paper even cut with zig zagged scissors. It was just amazing. Then I focused on the bottle in my hands and remember what i was supposed to do. Well I lightly removed the cap and pour a reasonable amount of the smushy, pink substance on my miniature hand and began to spread it around. Soon I was almost done but, something came over me and next thing I knew I was covered in lotion. My face, cheeks, legs, arms and any part of my body that exposed skin was covered in lotion. It felt cold and smooth against my skin. I still don't know why but, I guess little kids just do random things when they are left with a bottle of lotion. My mom eventually came looking for me and found a pink snowman sitting on the porch. She was kinda angry but, was laso laughing. I wasn't sad that I got in trouble, on the contrary I felt like I smelled good and fresh.
